THE NEUROTICS:
Born and raised on the Mornington Peninsula, Australia, John Stam (vocalist and lead guitarist) found himself, like many, with nothing to do during the Covid Pandemic. He decided to pick up the guitar and write punk songs. Inspired by bands such as Blink-182, Greenday, Foo-Fighters and more, John had written 20 songs and took 12 of his favourite out of the 20 and recorded demos in his home built studio.
With a new goal and vision, he set out to professionally record the songs by himself at a studio in north Melbourne Victoria (New Market Studios). After quitting his job, he enrolled into a diploma of music industry course where he would later meet Darby Davis (rhythm guitarist, back up vocals), Jordan Davis (Drums), and Mayson Jordan (Bass guitar).
